About Us

Our Calling

We, Tariel and Alena Kvaratskhelia, dedicated our lives to serving God 25 years ago. Since then, our ministry has encompassed various areas: missionary work, pastoral care, family ministry, work with addicts and their families, leadership training, discipleship, and mentoring.

The Beginning of Our Ministry in Belarus

In 1998, Tariel began serving as a youth pastor. In 2007, our family moved to Mogilev to plant a new church. There, we faced numerous spiritual challenges. The most difficult trial was severe emotional burnout, which led Alena into deep clinical depression. At that time, we had no pastoral counselors, mentors, or spiritual advisors to turn to. Standing at the edge, we, with God's help, walked through this journey, experienced restoration, and realized the vital role of spiritual fatherhood and motherhood in everyone's life. This experience became a turning point in our ministry. Having recovered and overcome this crisis, we felt God’s calling to help others through counseling and pastoral care. We started studying:

  • Tariel completed his pastoral studies at Minsk Theological Seminary.
  • Earned a bachelor’s degree in Church Planting from Kyiv Theological Seminary.
  • Completed a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Kyiv Theological Seminary.

Gradually, our pastoral care ministry took shape, eventually leading to the opening of the Open Heart Counseling Center in Mogilev in 2021.

Mission in Abkhazia

Tariel's roots are in Abkhazia. Nineteen years ago, he met his father there for the first time. With each visit to the country, his conviction to serve the Abkhazian people grew stronger. Abkhazia is a land where Christianity is deeply intertwined with pagan traditions, where many people are bound by occult practices and spiritual struggles.

Five years ago, God confirmed our calling by opening doors for us to obtain citizenship. He also miraculously provided the resources to acquire land. In 2023, we permanently moved to Abkhazia with the dream of establishing a pastoral care and restoration center.

We believe that God has called us to be a light and a source of hope for those in need.

If our ministry inspires you, we invite you to join us in prayer and partnership.

May God’s love transform lives!
